*A great alternative (and more economical) option than custom illustration is to purchase a stock photo (we recommend iStock) and we can edit it to coordinate with your blog and personality. If you find an iStock photo or illustration you like, let us know which one and we will invoice you for it and purchase it on our account.
Want a blog, but don't know where to start? Maybe this will help...

First, choose your blog service. The two most popular are Wordpress and Google's Blogspot.
For new bloggers, I recommend Blogspot; it is easy to use and you can customize it with templates or the code itself.
If you are serious about blogging; I 100% recommend using Wordpress.org, which is run off of your web hosting service. You have much more control over the blog and there are tons of fun add-ons; you can even use Wordpress for regular sites. We can even host it for you!
There is also Wordpress.com, which will look like "username.wordpress.com" in your url. It is similar to Blogspot but not so customizable unless you want to pay for credits.

Get your url. If using Blogspot or Wordpress.com, your url will simply be "username.wordpress.com"; however with Blogspot and Wordpress.org, you can purchase a domain (www.yournamehere.com) if you wish.
